Yeah Poke Bowl

yeahbowl

For today’s Husky lunch, we decided to check out Yeah Poke Bowl on Karangahape Rd, it was a pleasant surprise! The place is fairly small, but we were lucky this time round to get one of the few tables available for dining in. Its vibe was pretty cool with exposed bricks giving laid-back vibes that fit right in on K’ Rd. Ordering was a breeze with their easy-to-navigate menu – it’s no wonder they’re popular for takeaways.

We dove into their build-your-own poke bowls and the options were plentiful. From fresh greens and brown rice to a variety of toppings like marinated tuna, creamy avocado, and edamame, it could be overwhelming for decision phobes. The sauce options—soy, spicy mayo, and ponzu for an extra kick if that’s what you crave.

What stood out most was how healthy and satisfying the bowls were. It got us thinking about making more of these at home or planning our next visit. Yeah Poke Bowl on K’ Rd definitely gets a thumbs up from the Husk team for a delicious, wholesome and reasonably priced lunch experience.

 Total spend – 4 people – $81.40

Mel had the beffy boy poke bowl and drank a freshly squeezed orange juice. She said, “Great place for a lite, fresh and healthy lunch. Delicious combo of ingredients which has inspired me to make more of these bowls of goodness at home!”

Sam had the tuna loha. He said, “Yeah Bowl, one of my new favourite places, super healthy and really good. Portion sizes are really good.”

Sarah had the wabi sabi bowl with chicken. She said, “Super yummy bowl and a great portion size. I enjoyed the spice of my Wabi Sabi bowl, it leaves your nose tingling. Really lovely service too. I left this place feeling like I made a healthy choice.”
