Bali Nights

balinights.co

We started off trying to get a table at Bodega Deli but when we arrived it seemed every other man and his dog had got the same memo, the queue was out of the door. It was an easy decision to change up those plans and head just a few metres down the street to the lovely Bali Nights. This change in plan did not disappoint, we were happy campers trying out this cool spot. The moment you walk in you’re hit with an explosion of colour and fun – the neon signs alone make you feel like you’ve stumbled into a tropical party – it’s awesome.

The service here is fantastic. The staff are super friendly and seem genuinely happy to have you there. It’s the kind of place where you feel like they actually care about you enjoying your meal, which is always a plus.

As for the food, what we ordered was packed with amazing flavours that’ll make you wonder why you haven’t been eating here more often. And if you like your food spicy, you’re in luck. There are plenty of options to turn up the heat and add a kick to your meal.

In a nutshell, Bali Nights is the perfect spot for a fun, delicious lunch or dinner. Great service, a vibrant atmosphere, and food that’ll make your taste buds dance. What more could you ask for? Go check it out!

Total spend – 4 people – $134.00

Louise had the beef rendang and rice plus a few fries. She said, “Love the coordinated aesthetic of Bali Nights – always fun and vibey. Staff are really helpful with dietary information and friendly service. Curry had a lot of beef and sauce and could have done with some other dimension or texture – not sure what – perhaps a garnish? Yum though and tender as.”

Mel had the nasi campur Bali (Chicken satay, sambal chicken, chilli egg, corn fritters, Sayur Urap, crackers, Sambal Matah, jasmine rice) and drank a mango and orange juice. She said, “What a fun little spot! I loved the staff here, they were super helpful, even when we kept asking different questions about dietary needs etc. They never made anyone feel like it was too much to ask. The food was yum, I did have slight order regrets after I tried Lou’s beef rendang, that was very moorish. I’d definitely go, maybe next time at night, the neon lights would be very cool.”

Sam had the nasi campur Bali (Chicken satay, sambal chicken, chilli egg, corn fritters, Sayur Urap, crackers, Sambal Matah, jasmine rice). He said, “Bali vibes without the chance of Bali Belly. Super neat little spot, lots on the menu and it was all good. With the menu it would be great if there were pictures of the food like when you’re in Bali so you know what you’re getting. It’s a bit of a lucky dip with some of the menu.”

Sarah had the mie goreng chicken noodles and drank a jasmine tea. She said, “I like the vibe and decor of this place, super bright and fun. The noodles were just what you would expect but the sides we ordered were yummy, especially the sauces. Great service.”
