Thread Goes Live for Fashion Week | 6.10.08
The Thread website, a joint project between Megan @ Thread, Husk (design and build) and Godzone (content management), was a long time in the making but worth the wait! Launched just in time for Air New Zealand Fashion Week, Thread has made an impressive first-run down the catwalk. The website features thousands of articles discussing everything from who's wearing what, when and where to news and reviews on major NZ music, fashion, culture and beauty-related events. With site content driven by 'CMS Made Simple', Megan manages polls, slideshows, articles, competitions and more, producing a dynamic site that's got it all - and not just for the NZ fashionistas. The humble huskies are excited to have had some of their recent work associated with two different award ceremonies. Firstly, an advertisement we designed for the World Society for the Protection of Animals was used at the Genesis Awards USA, an annual event in Hollywood put on by HSUS as an award ceremony for TV/film. And even more cool - the recent Annual Report we did for Netball NZ has been short-listed as a finalist in the NZ Institute of Chartered Accountants 2007 Annual Report Awards in the category for 'Best Annual Report by a Service Organisation/Volunteer Sector'.
